Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]. Philippians 4:8 (AMPLIFIED)

In the above-mentioned Scripture, the apostle Paul writes to the believers in Philippi, admonishing them on the proper use of their minds and what they should or should not allow to travel through their thoughts under God’s government. He reveals a profound truth therein that is apt and relevant to the believers in this dispensation.

This Scripture is so important because therein the apostle Paul reveals “the template of the mind”, that is, the boundary that God put around the mind (whatever things that are true, honourable, worthy of respect, right and confirmed by God’s word, pure and wholesome, lovely and bring peace, admirable and of good repute, excellent and worthy of praise) and He allows it to explore, beyond which it must never go. And to go beyond that boundary will be tantamount to violating the template of the mind. This is because the mind will become exposed to perverted, cursed knowledge which will invariably expose the mind to spirits of perversion that rule those domains in the heavenlies.

This dreadful reality will even be more precarious in the end times as the coming of the Lord draws nearer because the blurry lines between the spirit and physical realms are going to get thinner and thinner, and there will be intense traffic of spirits both from the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. These spirits will be seeking out human vessels who they can use their minds as conduits to bring to the earth realm different kinds of knowledge, both blessed knowledge and cursed knowledge (perverted knowledge), which will entrench their civilizations amongst humans. Sadly, this is fast playing out in the “perversion industry” as there are all manner of perverse kinds of knowledge being introduced, from gaming to virtual porn as well as cartoons. And sadly, the perversion industry has grown into a multi-billion dollar industry.

To be sure, God, in His Omniscience, wanted to insulate and shield Adam and Eve from this kind of knowledge in the Garden of Eden. Hence, He instructed Adam not to eat from “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil”. Sadly, after they partook of that tree at the prompting and subtilty of the serpent, the evil one, Satan, they were exposed to a kind of knowledge that God never wanted them to have. Consequently, their innocence was taken away from them, and they knew that they were “naked”.

It is instructive to note that the aftermath of eating from “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil” was that “they knew evil by experience”, as well as knew that they were “naked”, and they became “afraid”.

God then asked them who told you that you were naked?

This question was put to them because “nakedness and fear” are foreign to the vocabulary and civilization of the kingdom of light. Because prior to eating from the forbidden tree, they were clothed with the glory of God. But only experienced “nakedness and fear” after they disobeyed God by eating from the forbidden tree (Genesis 2:16-17; Genesis 3:1-11).

Genesis 2:16-17 (KJV)
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die.”

Genesis 3:1‭-‬11 (KJV)
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, “Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

Additionally, God never wanted them to expose their minds to any kind of “forbidden and perverted knowledge” that causes them to know evil by experience. Neither does He want you to expose your mind to any kind of forbidden, perverted knowledge or any kind of knowledge that He has not approved or blessed.

It is instructive to note that “God has all the knowledge of both good and evil, but He does not know evil by experience”.

Similarly, the prophet Isaiah re-echoes this thought in his prophetic warning about the judgment of the Chaldeans. He warned the children of Israel about toying with and exposing their minds to the perverted knowledge and wisdom of the Chaldeans, as well as the dangers of following after their evil ways and doings (Isaiah 47:10).

Isaiah 47:10 (KJV)
For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am , and none else beside me.

God created your mind to be a “holy sanctuary” where only His own kind of blessed knowledge and wisdom will travel through and bring the reality of His realm and domain to the earth. His desire is to use your mind as a conduit to achieve this. But when you expose your mind to any kind of forbidden and perverted knowledge by viewing pornography, reading occult books, playing occult games such as Ouija boards, Charlie Charlie, or watching movies that expose your mind to any form of forbidden, perverted knowledge and wisdom, you will have encounters with spirits from those dark realms. And they will possess your vessel (body), and then use you as a conduit to bring their evil civilizations to the earth realm. These evil spirits are disembodied beings who are always looking for humans to house them, so that they can find expression through their bodies, emotions and personalities.

I pray that you’ll take the solemn instructions in this discourse with humility and with all seriousness, and begin to make a deliberate decision about what you allow into your mind. This is so that your mind can be a fitting sanctuary for the Holy Spirit to dwell in and it can become a conduit to bring the reality and civilization of the heavenly realm to the earth realm, and the Holy Spirit can invariably possess your vessel (body) exclusively.
